What Is GoTrek’s Cancellations Policy?

Most tours offered on the GoTrek Platform are 100% fully refundable when canceled at least 24 hours prior to the tour departure. All cancellation policies are noted on the booking menu. You can email info@GoTrekTours.com if you are unsure regarding your tours cancellation policy.

How Do I receive my ticket(s)?

You will receive your ticket in your confirmation email -​ typically within 15 minutes of booking your activities. However, sometimes it may take up to 48 hours to confirm certain activities. You will receive a confirmation email from GoTrek, as well as the local tour operator who will be hosting your tour. The ticket will be included in the email from the operator.
If you don’t receive the email, check your spam/junk folder. If you are unsure if your booking was confirmed, please contact ​ info@GoTrekTours.com.

During Booking

My tour offers hotel pickup. How can I request that they pick up at my hotel?

Please include your hotel details at the time of booking and the local operator will provide your meeting location and time when you call to reconfirm your booking.

My booking requires hotel name and address however, the trip I’ve chosen doesn’t include a hotel pick-up/drop-off.
How can I complete my booking?

Even if your booking doesn’t include Hotel Pickup and Drop-off, the Tour Operator may ask for your details so they can contact you if anything changes regarding your itinerary. (IE: Weather related issues, mechanical problems, etc.)
If you haven’t selected a hotel yet, just indicate 'TBA' and when your tour date approaches, you can contact the local tour operate with the information provided to schedule pickup and dropoff times. This is normal procedure for them.

Why did my booking not confirm?

Confirmation is typically received within 48 hours of booking, subject to availability.
A tour may return unavailable due to a few different reasons.

  • The tour date or time requested is no longer available
  • Unexpected closures of locations visited or roads used during tour, etc.

We apologize for any inconvenience but sometimes outside influences can force the cancellation of a tour.
Tours rejected by the Tour Operator that you have already purchased will be refunded immediately.

How do I access my ticket?

You will receive a confirmation email from GoTrek, as well as the local tour operator who will be hosting your tour. The ticket will be included in the email from the operator​ —usually within 15 minutes of booking your activities. However, sometimes it takes up to 48 hours to confirm certain activities

How do I get my ticket if I won't have internet access when I am traveling?

It’s all good! If you’re concerned about accessing your email or the internet during your trip, simply print your Ticket at home and take it with you when you travel. Be sure to print the whole thing—including the barcode and meeting instructions.

Who do I contact if I have any last-minute questions about my tour?

Contact details for the local tour operator can be found on your Ticket under the heading Important Information in the confirmation email you received from the tour operator.
